Privacy Policy

Effective 30 August 2026. AI Summify processes page text, selected text, source URLs, or images only after an explicit user action. Selected content is sent through our serverless gateway to the configured AI provider to generate a response.

Data and purpose

We use a pseudonymous installation identifier and a one-way server hash derived from network information for quotas and abuse prevention. Signed-in users have an account identifier, entitlement, and aggregate daily usage count. We do not sell data, track users across apps, inject ads, or passively collect browsing history.

Retention and integrations

Generated result cache entries are keyed by a cryptographic content hash and retained for up to seven days. Notion OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest and used only for user-initiated exports. BYOK keys stay in local extension storage and requests go directly to the selected provider.

Subprocessors include Cloudflare, Supabase, Google Gemini, Apple, Stripe, and Notion. BYOK users also engage Gemini or OpenAI directly. Their processing locations and terms may vary.

Your choices

You can disconnect integrations, remove local keys, and permanently delete your account directly from Account settings. Apple and Notion tokens are revoked before deletion. Apple or Stripe subscriptions continue until separately cancelled, and processor records may remain under legal obligations. Contact privacy@aisummify.com for other privacy requests.
